The Dallas Cowboys and Pittsburgh Steelers squared off in the Super Bowl in 1976. This Super Bowl was known as Super Bowl X. The previous Super Bowl was between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Minnesota Vikings. The game was won by the Pittsburgh Steelers by a score of 16-6. The Steelers played well through the next season and found their way back to the Super Bowl. Their opponents this year would be the Dallas Cowboys.
While the Steelers had a dominant defense that helped them win the previous year, the Cowboys were actually able to put the first points on the board in this game. The Cowboys were led by Staubach at quarterback and he managed to find Pearson in the end zone for a 29 yard pass. After an extra-point the Cowboys would be up 7-0.
The Steelers were going to put up a fight and managed to put up some points before the end of the 1st quarter. Terry Bradshaw found Grossman in the end zone for a 7 yard touchdown pass. The extra-point was good and the game was tied
at 7-7.
The Steelers stepped things up defensively after their first touchdown allowed and the only points scored in the 2nd quarter came from a 36 yard field goal for the Cowboys. The Cowboys were up 10-7 at halftime.
The 3rd quarter featured a higher intensity from both teams defensively and neither team managed to put points on the board.
The 4th quarter had some dominant plays from the Steelers on defense as Pittsburgh managed to put 2 points on the board with a safety. The score was now 10-9 in favor of the Cowboys.
The Steelers kept things going offensively and put up two more field goals from 36 and 18 yards. The Steelers continued to roll as Terry Bradshaw found Lynn Swann for a 64 yard pass in what is one of the most famous plays in NFL history. The Steelers scored a touchdown on the play, but failed to convert the extra-point. They were up 21-10 with not much time left on the clock.
The Cowboys were not ready to give up despite the fact that time was winding down. The Cowboys put together a drive and Staubach found Howard for a 34 yard pass. The Cowboys made the point after attempt and narrowed the lead down to 4 points in favor of the Steelers. The score was 21-17.
The Cowboys were unable to score again, and the game would ultimately end in favor of the Steelers. The Steelers would become back-to-back Super Bowl Champions with the victory. Lynn Swann was named Super Bowl MVP and finished with 161 yards receiving on 4 catches during the game. Terry Bradshaw also had a solid game with 209 yards passing and 2 touchdowns with no interceptions. In the running game Franco Harris managed to chip in 82 yards rushing on 27 carries. The defense managed to intercept Staubach 3 times over the course of the game to limit the offensive opportunities of the Cowboys.

By Cory Lynch
For all those who take up the under sea challenge there is always the distinct possibility that you will one day encounter a shark. Sharks are the top of the food chain in the oceans and seas and they have been around for millions of years and adapted to the conditions over time.
As a good introduction and part of diver training should be more about interacting with sea creatures and to understand not to damage their environment. The are many places within the UK and Europe where you can visit large Aquarium tanks and take part in shark encounters.
The large aquariums tanks have mainly Nurse sharks and Sand tiger type sharks in the nurse sharks are the ones that like to sit on the bottom and not move, unless of course you wave a nice piece of squid at them and they take that and eat it quite quickly.
The sand tiger shark have lots of sticky out sharp teeth and look fairly aggressive but are mainly docile and they are night feeders so when most people see them in aquariums they seem to be cruising and not feeding.
As a Diver I think, as part of the essential training should be to do one of these shark dives if you intend to go diving in seas and oceans. Developing a good understanding and relaxed attitude and knowing how to respect sharks will prove a benefit for when you meet one in the open sea.
Having taken people into a shark tank and developing a diver awareness that these creatures can and will get close to you and training them not to panic but to back away and give the shark space is very good training.
When I was out in the red sea diving in Ras Mohamed the national park, there are lots of good coral reefs and drop offs and out past the drop offs the larger sharks can often be seen. We took a group of novice divers and got the to take a aquarium dive before they went really helped.
The group had some encounters both on day and night dives of shark activity ranging from seeing blue sharks and white tip reef sharks and the whole group had a better understanding and backed off and behave in a calm manner so the training of the aquarium tank made the job of supervising dives a lot easier.
By having a relaxed nature within the company of sharks, they can sense the nervous tones given off by being panicked in the water so eliminating this has proven to me that I feel safer taking groups into areas where the larger sharks may be without compromising too much safety.
Shark dives and encounters are things you never forget if it's seeing a white tip feeding a night and coming out of the black depths near you. To seeing the larger silky sharks defending their territory by making S shapes in the water a definite time to back off as they seem to only do this before striking.
Sharks will always be in the depths and divers need to consider doing an aquarium dive just to get the edge of fear out from them so they can go off to explore the depths in oceans and seas with a little bit of understanding.

Exercising with a Rowing Machine
By Jimmie Mcdowell
Ever since I got into sports I have always been looking for exercise equipments that I could use inside my room. There were days when I found it impossible to do road work exercises outside due to weather swings. I went around shopping in fitness stores and found out that rowing machines are one of the most popular exercise alternatives. It is a system that works different areas of the body. Its unique setup creates resistance to different muscle groups, both in the lower and upper body. This provided a great alternative to muscle strengthening and conditioning. Rowing machines are well known for its efficiency in improving back and shoulder muscles. However, they do also provide a great work out to the thighs, calves and gluteus maximus. There are various rowing machine techniques that can be followed in order to achieve different levels of muscle growth in different areas of the body. Certain types of positioning, repetition, and set managements can all be applied to enhance the conditioning and strengthening of certain muscle areas. What I was looking for was a flexible equipment that can allow users to exercise different types of rowing machine techniques
The Search Continues
With this knowledge in mind, I shopped around looking for the best rowing machine that fit my needs. I run everyday and lift weights on a regular 3 day a week basis and so when rain is pouring hard or if the snow is unbearable, a certain type of exercise equipment should be able to provide the same results as my everyday workout. That was what I was looking for. Something that I could bring inside my room and make me sweat and work similar to the way the open field and road does.
Short Description of Stamina ATS 1400 Air Rower
I was looking for something special and just as I expected it, the cost was unforgiving. I looked around so more, checking rowing machine ratings, reviews, and comparisons in order to find the best rowing machine there is that would fit my budget. I found attractive products but the best rowing machine that was available at the time was the Stamina ATS 1400 Air Rower. Its price ranged from 300-400US$ and its benefits were attractive. Some of its benefits were included in the product which had features such as multi-function monitors, molded seat that ensures comfort, wheels for portability, easy storage, and strong and efficient wind resistance. It is constructed through steel which makes the product very durable and therefore much more attractive. Its user ratings and reviews were high and it was voted most efficient rowing machine of the year. Having a rowing machine comparison on this price budget would be senseless as nothing would beat the Stamina ATS 1400 Air Rower in terms of price and product quality.
The Leading Rower Machine - Stamina ATS 1400 Air Rower
I have previously tried my friends' rowers which were supposed to be of higher quality as stated in early rowing machine reviews and ratings. What is surprising is the difference in user friendliness and efficiency of the product. I reviewed the online ratings and user reviews of those products online and found out that many of the users rated the products high in the beginning but after a few months realized the problems such as missing wheels which makes it harder to move around, quick deterioration of mechanical parts, and safety hazards in the way the products are designed. Due to my findings and experiences with the Stamina ATS 1400 Air Rower, I am 100% convinced that I have gotten way more than what I paid for in purchasing the product. It is one of the best deals in the market and I am a 100% satisfied customer.

How Golf Has Evolved
By Giuseppe Mathis
Golf clubs have come a long way from the earliest days when roughly hewn branches many have used to knock around stones or wooden balls. You may have found, to your dismay that your young son practicing the same trick with rocks and stones, only with your new high tech, very expensive set of golf clubs.
Early golf clubs were almost certainly made entirely of wood with the club head and shaft being made of different types, glued together a bound in twine. Hazel and ash were used for the shaft wile apple, beech; blackthorn and pear were popular for the head of the golf club, whether it was used for driving fairway or approach play.
These clubs were satisfactory for use with the "feathery" golf balls but when the "gutty" golf balls arrived in the mid nineteenth century it put a strain on those golf clubs. Towards the end of the nineteenth century the golf club started to look very different, as an alterative wood hickory was used for the golf club shafts, and iron heads were developed to withstand the battering of the "gutty", as well as to gain extra difference. It was also realized that golfing clubs with different lefts could be used for different shots, and top players began carrying nine or ten clubs, as opposed to three or four.
While the wooden clubs could meet the demands of the "gutty" golf balls of the times, they could not stand up the "Haskell" golf ball, and it was necessary to find new material for the golf club heads. The North American wood persimmon was discovered to be more than ideal for the choice of golf club shafts, but to prevent damage ivory or bone inserts were added to the clubface of the golfing clubs.
After World War I, hickory was in short supply, and it became necessary to seek an alternative material for golf club shafts. Manufacturers turned to steel, and so the steel shafted golf club was born. By the 1920's golf club manufacturers had moved out of the hand of individual craftsman and the mass production of golf clubs was in full swing.
Golfing club sets now consisted of 14 golf clubs and for the first time, golf players and sportsmen could buy a complete set of clubs that matched each other in style and design.
The steel shafted golf clubs gave extra length and more control to the golf shot, yet manufactures were still taking advantage of constantly improving technology to develop golf club design. Laminated plastic and then light aluminum replaced persimmon for use in club heads and graphite and titanium golf club shafts were developed to enable more movement to the club head through the ball. "Cavity-back" clubs ( irons with the cavity hollowed out of the back of the club head) were also designed and introduced for golfers to give a more exact center of gravity , to provide the golfer with a greater relationship with his clubs.
Computerized technology is now helping to advance the design of the golf club more and more today. Golfers - both professional and amateur benefit on the links with golf equipment that makes their golf game ever easier and more enjoyable. Golf is a hard enough game. Why handicap yourself with poor or inadequate golf clubs.
