Why be a tourist when you can be a local? Nowadays you don't have to settle for scouring the web for decent hotels in decent neighborhoods. You don't have to be cramped or uncomfortable in small rooms that cost an arm and a leg, because Paris like most great cities offers either very expensive rooms in very expensive hotels or smaller rooms in small neighborhood hotels that can often leave you feeling well, cramped.
